With a powerful 10.2MP Back-Illuminated 35mm full-frame Exmor R Sensor packed into the compact Sony Cinema Line FX3A Camera, the camera ensures that it will deliver exceptional while recording video, and even produce beautiful quality stills. With the enhanced sensor, the Cinema Line FX3 A Camera is capable of producing an outstanding sensitivity with reduced noise, an ISO of up to 102 800, and an expanded ISO range of 409 600. The sensor also ensures beautiful cinematic expression, 15+ Stops for Wide Dynamic Range, S-Cinetone to produce the cinematic look – matching with the other FX models.
BIONZ XR Image Processing Engine
Combing this powerful BIONZ XR Image Processing Engine into the Sony Cinema Line FX3A Camera, makes it possible for the camera to perform a variety of powerful functions – such as recording high-resolution 4K video @ up to 120 fps, achieving a high ISO sensitivity range of up to 409 600 (expanded); built-in 5-axis Image Stabilization which is ideal when recording handheld; an impressive Hybrid AF that performs exceptionally well – delivering a wide, accurate and tenacious multi-point phase-detection AF, Real-time Eye AF & subject tracking by a simple touch.
High-Resolution 4K Video Recording up to 120 fps
The Sony Cinema Line FX3-A Camera is ideal for all videographers wanting to film high-resolution video. With enhanced technology powered into the camera, makes it possible to record stunning 4K video @ up to 120 fps as well as 4:2:2 10-bit / 4.2K @ 60 fps 16-bit RAW output; various recording formats that include XAVC S / XAVC S-I and XAVC HS. Additionally, when recording in 4K video format, you can also film in S-Cinetone, S-Log3/2, and HLG.
5-Axis Image Stabilization
With built-in 5-axis Image Stabilisation, the camera will reduce camera shake while recording handheld. The image stabilisation compensates for pitch, yaw, roll, horizontal and vertical – resulting in much sharper video and image quality, especially when recording in low-light and other less than ideal conditions.
Advanced, Fast Hybrid Autofocus System
With advanced algorithms, the Sony Cinema Line FX3 A Camera is capable of producing a fast Hybrid Autofocus System, with wide, accurate and tenacious multi-point phase-detection AF. The design of the Sony FX3 A Cinema Line Camera features a compact construction, making it ideal to transport wherever you go to record in stunning video quality, with a size of only 129.7 x 77.8 x 84.55mm and a weight of as little as 640g; a top handle making it easy for videographers to record on the go; a zoom lever; x2 XLR/TRS cables, and x2 35mm jacks / LPCM 4ch 24-bit; an Internal Active Cooling Fan to avoid overheating from taking place, while recording limitless 4K video. Other features to the compact design include 2 card slots that’s capable of reading UHS-II card and CFexpress Type A memory cards, and a powerful NP-FZ100 (16.4Wh) battery.
