Bright f/1.8, 9-Blade Circular AperturePowered into this elegant Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G Lens is a bright f/1.8, 9-blade circular aperture which excels great in low-light conditions, and also contributes to smooth, creamy bokeh and natural-looking highlights.
Optical Design that Produces Superb ResolutionPacked into the lens are Two AA (Advanced Aspherical) elements and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements that are used to minimise sagittal flare, in order to accurately render scenes with a high degree of sharpness; and to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for improved clarity. A Nano AR coating has been applied to the front lens element to reduce surface reflections, flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour rendering.
