The Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens features an overall design that is significantly smaller than the predecessor, coming in at about two-thirds of the length and half the size. With the compact size. you are still offered S-series optical resolution via the Phase Fresnel element which also reduces the maximum aperture to f/6.3. With the size less than 28cm long the Nikon Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens will fit into most kit bags, even when attached to a camera body. Extra-low dispersion elements and a short-wave refractive element assist in reducing chromatic aberrations. The Nano Crystal Coating assist in reducing flare and improving clarity, especially with point lights like stars and cityscapes.

Further assisting handheld use, the Nikon Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens features built-in optical Vibration Reduction. This achieves up to 5.5 stops of image stabilization on all Z Series Cameras.
