Optical Design
For increased light transmission the Nikon Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens features sis ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements, this effectively eliminates chromatic aberrations as well as colour fringing throughout the zoom range.
A single aspherical glass element assists in minimizing distortion and coma at wider apertures, this also assists in building a lighter and more compact size.

Autofocus and Vibration Reduction
The built-in STM stepping motor provides quick, accurate, smooth and quiet autofocus performance and is well-suited for both still and video applications.
A/M mode (Auto-Priority Manual Mode) makes it possible for you to easily transition between manual and autofocus during AF operation.
Featuring a built-in Vibration Reduction (VR) system provides a stabilization effect equivalent to a shutter speed of 5.5 stops faster, reducing camera blur when panning to track fast-moving subjects.

Handling and Design
With this lens, you are able to make use of Nikon Z Teleconverters. This provides the ability to extend the effective focal length to 840mm using a 1.4x teleconverter, and up to 1200mm when using the 2x converter.
