The multifunctional module excels in multiperson scenarios by responding flexibly and steadily to keep the selected subject in frame. Hands-free control is also possible, simply with a palm gesture, V gesture, or a Double L gesture, you can stop/start tracking, stop/start recording, to adjust framing. The built-in fill light on the Multifunctional Module offers eight levels of brightness and eight temperature settings.

Via the free-to-download DJI Mimo app for iOS and Android, ActiveTrack 7.0 frees your creativity with some smart features like Dual Lens Boost, where wide-angle and telephoto lenses team up to track a subject over a larger area and bing them back to frame if moved out. Subject tracking and Smart Capture allow the DJI OM 8 to automatically detect the subject and lock in tracking, or you can select a subject in the frame among other subjects for focused tracking. Here you can still switch between subjects by simply tapping on them on the screen.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Smartphone Gimbal features a powerfull built-in battery offering up to 10 hours of operation. For extended filming or live streams, the OM8 features a USB-C port through which you can power your phone.
