The Nikon Z 35mm f/1.2 S Lens is the first of its kind from Nikon featuring exceptional build quality perfect for documentary photography, lifestyle shoots and environmental portraits.

The Nikon Z 35mm f/1.2 S Lens now completes the trio of f/1.2 offerings from Nikon, now including 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm. Users can benefit from a wide-to-telephoto range that is capable of isolating your subject while complementing them with a smooth beautiful flattering bokeh.

Multi-Focusing System, Dual STM Motors

The Nikon Z 35mm f/1.2 S Lens is a strong choice for still photography but is also well-optimised for video capture due to the clickless control ring, ability to suppress focus breathing and quiet, accurate and fast operations.
The autofocus system is driven by a multi-focus system featuring dual STM motors delivering fast, quiet and accurate autofocus performance.

Convenient and Customisable

Your preferred lens setting can be assigned to the two L-Fn buttons on the lens. Further, you can adjust the manual focus ring and programmable control ring to functions such as aperture adjustment or exposure control.
For added convenience when working with the 50mm f/1.2, or the 85mm f/1.2, the Nikon Z 35mm f/1.2 S Lens features an 82mm filter thread that is the same throughout all three lenses.

Weather Resistance and Glass Protection

This lens along with all other lenses in the S lineup features dust and drip resistance with multiple parts of the lens being sealed along with movable parts in the barrel.
Meso Amorphous, Nano Crystal, and ARNEO coatings are applied for the glass element to reduce ghosting and lens flare to produce an accurate and clearly rendered image regardless of the lighting conditions

Complex Optical Design

The Nikon Z 35mm f/1.2 S Lens features three ED lenses and one aspherical ED lens for reducing spherical aberrations and distortion. In total, there are 17 elements in 15 groups as well as a rounded 11-blade diaphragm, which creates unique bokeh and striking image quality.
