The camera is well packed with advanced features that include a powerful 24.2MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and DIGIC X Image processor, Canon Log 3, custom colour profiles, an intelligent autofocus to ensure that creators can capture outstanding results.

V-Series Enhancements
The Canon EOS R50 V Mirrorless Camera not only features a vertical orientation point, but it also features a front recording button for easy control when taking selfies or vlogging.
Cropped UHD 4K video recording at 60fps is now available, along with Fast and Slow modes for creative control. Advanced video features from the Cinema EOS line, including Canon Log 3, HLG, PQ, 709 Recording, False Color, and Zebras.
The multi-function accessory shoe supports LPCM 24-bit, four-channel audio recording with an external microphone and is compatible with external flash units when shooting stills.

24.2MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and DIGIC X Processing
A powerful combination is built by pairing a powerful 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC X image processor, the Canon EOS R50V Mirrorless Camera delivers high-resolution imagery with striking and accurate colour.
The flexible ISO from 100-32000 is expandable to ISO 51200, this allows you to work in a variety of lighting conditions.
Using the full width of the sensor, 6K oversampled UHD 4K 30p video recording is supported, as is Full HD 1080 120p for slow motion playback. The DIGIC X image processor also supports 15 fps continuous shooting via the silent electronic shutter.

Enhanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II
The Canon EOS R 50V Mirrorless Camera features 651 high-precision autofocus zones, and Dual Pixel CMOS AF II provides fast and accurate focusing performance.
This system features enhanced subject detection and tracking with the ability to intelligently recognise people, animals and vehicles. It automatically locks onto these subjects and maintains sharp focus throughout bursts and video capture.

3.0" Vari-Angle Touchscreen LCD
At the rear, you will find a large 3.0" 1.4m-dot vari-angle touchscreen. This provides an intuitive interface for controlling focus points, navigating menus and reviewing. When working in low or high angles, the screen features a vari-angle design.
When shooting in the vertical orientation, info display and playback can be set accordingly, with auto level display also available while recording.

Flexible Connectivity
The Canon EOS R50V Mirrorless Camera features multiple ways of wired and wireless connectivity options for transferring photos and video, livestreaming and remote control. Physically on the body itself, you will find a USB-C port, micro-HDMI port and a microphone port for video recording.
Via Bluetooth, the camera can be controlled remotely, which helps preserve battery life. Simply connect to a compatible smart device using the free-to-download Canon Camera Connect app.
Wi-Fi connectivity enables quick and seamless wireless functions like remote live view, file viewing and transfer. Using the app you can transfer files to share to social media.
Built-in USB-C enables you to connect the camera to a smartphone or computer.
