Advanced Optics for High Resolution Image Quality

With advanced optics built-in to the Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S Lens, the lens ensures all the detail and sharpness across the entire frame when capturing portraits. The optics feature special coatings such ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coating to effectively reduce ghost and flaring from occurring. The lens construction consists of Aspherical elements to help reduce coma and other types of lens aberrations, even when the aperture is at its widest, ED (Extra-Low Dispersion Glass) to obtain optimum correction of chromatic aberrations, and Super Integrated Coating.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S Lens delivers extraordinary rendering power across the entire frame, with superb autofocusing all thanks to an advanced multi-focus system that utilises two smaller energy efficient STM stepping motors to deliver a much faster, quieter, and more accurate AF operation, which is a first for a f/1.2 lens.

9-Blade Diaphragm

With a 9 rounded blade diaphragm incorporated into the Nikon Z 50mm f/1.2 Lens, you'll be able to isolate your subject from its background with crystalline sharpness that gradually falls into a dreamlike defocus blur, creating an amazing bokeh effect.

Eye-Detect AF

The lens has been designed to support Eye-Detect AF. This can be done when activating your Z camera's Eye-Detect AF mode. With an impressive multi-focus system, you'll be surprised how quick the camera locks onto your subjects eye and tracks it across the frame.

Lens Info Panel

The lens construction also features a lens panel that displays vital information, such as the focus distance, depth of field, and aperture.

Dust and Moisture Construction

With a dust and moisture construction, there's no need to check the forecast. The Nikon Z 50mm f/1.2 Lens is well sealed to keep out dust and moisture from damaging the lens, especially around the moving parts of the barrel. (Please note that it's not guaranteed to be fully dust- and drip-resistant in all situations.)

If the item has been pre-ordered for you, this can take anything from 4 - 8 weeks.
