With an advanced Dual-Motor Multi-Focus (STM) built-in to the MC 105mm f/2.8 lens, the lens is capable of performing really fast, accurately, and also offers a virtually silent autofocus system with suppressed hunting and breathing. The Multi-Focus system is incorporated to ensure it effectively reduces chromatic aberration and colour fringing common among macro lenses.

The lens barrel features a customizable control ring that allows photographers to have full control over their exposure compensation, ISO and aperture settings.

It also includes three extra-low dispersion elements to effectively reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations, an Aspherical lens element to minimise coma, distortion, and all sorts of lens aberrations.
