The Sony Alpha a6400 mirrorless camera is equipped with a large 24.2 MP CMOS Sensor along with a powerful Image Processing Engine incorporated to produce astonishing image resolution and more natural depiction textures. Capture and create natural-looking images that matches the actual scenery, all thanks to its image-processing algorithms that’s inherited from full-frame cameras.

4K High-Resolution Video Recording

Record high-resolution video when shooting in 4K mode, as it does super 35mm format recording with 2.4x oversampling – leading to beautiful 4K video footage (QFHD: 3840 x 2160).

Superb, and Reliable Autofocus

With a powerful and enhanced image processing engine & Exmor CMOS Sensor incorporated into the Sony Alpha a6400 – the cameras autofocus is capable of focusing swiftly to detect the subject and then track the subject’s motion, to always achieve sharp and in focus images all thanks to a lightning-fast of 0.02 second Hybrid Autofocus System.

425 Phase-Detection Autofocus Points

With 425 phase-detection autofocus points across almost the entire screen, covering around 84% of the image area – contributes to getting your entire frame in focus.

Extremely Fast Continuous Shooting with AF/AE at up to 11fps

With extremely fast continuous shooting, you’ll never have to miss any moment again which is all thanks to its superb internal processing and a fast, high-capacity buffer memory. The fast-continuous shooting allows you to shoot footage up to 11fps with after-view or 8fps for live-view – leaving you with minimal display lag, and to take up to 116 shots in JPEG which is standard, and 46 shots in one continuous burst when the format is changed to compressed RAW.

Real-Time Eye Autofocus & Real-Time Tracking

The Real-Time Eye Autofocus & Real-Time Tracking are newly adopted Ai-based subject recognition technology that’s been incorporated into the Sony Alpha a6400 – to detect and track even rapidly moving subjects.
The intelligent eye recognition and tracking feature consists of 3 different options that you can choose from, being the Accurate Eye Recognition mode which immediately recognises human faces and focuses precisely on a person’s eyes; the Persistent Eye Tracking which helps maintain a stable focus on moving subjects even when part of the face is hidden, meaning that the focus locks onto a person's face once the AF-C is set; and you can choose specifically on which eye you would like to focus from the menu in advance.

Smart Operability

The design of the Sony Alpha a6400 features a smart 3.0-inch, 180-degree tiltable touchscreen that’s capable of so many functions, such as providing quick control over a number of the camera functions, smooth focus-area selection, touch focus and touch shutter, and touch tracking turns on Real-Time Tracking at any time.
