The Iris Diaphragm for the PiXAPRO Optical Snoot Spot Projector is designed to fit into the gobo holder slot and enables you to project a circle of virtually any size you require, from a pinpoint of light, up to a large flood of light. this is ideal for highlighting a specific area of your scene and can be used for either video or stills photography.

DESCRIPTION

The Iris Diaphragm features a 14 bladed iris which enables you to continuously vary the size of the opening via a single metal lever. The blades in the Iris Diaphragm work in a similar fashion to how the aperture blades in a camera lens work. Due to the curved nature of the iris blades, the Iris Diaphragm maintains a near-perfectly circular shape, regardless of how large or how small you make the opening. The Optical Snoot can either be de-focused for a soft feathered edge to the projection or focused for a sharply defined edge.

The Iris Diaphragm also features a gobo slot which enables it to be used in conjunction with gobos. This will enable you to control the size of the projection using the iris blades, anywhere between the full projection, down to a small portion of the projection. Especially good for times when you want the projection to affect a small area of your photo.

The Iris Diaphragm for the Pixapro Optical Snoot is perfect for use in both video and stills photography, great for emphasising certain details such as labels in product photography, or for highlighting certain details in cinematography.

If Item is being collected from our suppliers, you item can be deeilevr between 2-7 Business Days - To all areas.

If the item has been pre-ordered for you, this can take anything from 4 - 8 weeks.
