Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K features:
Ultra High Definition 4K sensor
The broadcasting camera features a Ultra High Definition 4K sensor that is capable of recording at up to 60 frames per second. 4K recording future proofs the camera as 4K resolution is quickly moving towards mainstream consumer technology.
Portable, lightweight and suitable for outdoor and indoor live production
The Blackmagic Design Studio 4K broadcasting camera features compact dimensions of 25.53 x 19.46 x 11.35 cm (W x H x D), weighs only 2kg and is capable of fitting into a single case.
A built in fiber optic connection, allows you to use a single thin tether cable to connect cameras to live production switchers. The optical fiber connection is bi-directional and carries HD or Ultra HD video with embedded audio, talkback, tally and even camera remote control. And because it uses standard, low cost fiber optic cable, you can connect cameras over massive distances almost anywhere, even at large outdoor venues.
Active Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens mount
The Blackmagic Design 4K Studio Camera features an active Micro Four Thirds lens mount so you can use high optical quality photographic lenses. MFT lenses includes wide angle, primes, standard zooms and large telephotos to enable the camera to shoot a wide variety of subjects.
Massive 10” Full HD Viewfinder
The massive 10 inch viewfinder features a high resolution of 1080p and displays amazing detail enabling you to frame, focus, change settings, and make subtle adjustments, even when you’re live on air.
Built In Talkback
The Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K features built in talkback enabling constant communication between the crew. Aviation headset connections allows you to choose from a wide range of high quality aviation headsets. Setup is effortless because talkback is embedded in the optical or SDI video connection to the camera, so you don’t have to run separate talkback cables
The Blackmagic Studio camera 4K supports the tally SDI standard used on the ATEM range of live production switchers. This means the tally from the switcher is broadcast to all cameras from all video outputs of the ATEM switcher and it’s sent to the Blackmagic Studio Camera via the program video connection. Tally lights illuminate automatically when your camera is live, and will stay illuminated during multiple camera transitions. With a light on the front for talent, and a light above the viewfinder for the operator, cast and crew can easily see which cameras are on air.
Integrated Control Panel
The viewfinder features an integrated control panel enabling quick and easy access the most important controls. You can adjust iris and focus control with the touch of a button, activate talkback, or even see return video. Dedicated buttons let you switch between film and video modes, display safe area markers, and turn on menu controls to change camera settings.
